Dolapo Oladejo is firstly a Music Enthusiast who has an eclectic taste for the art.He has always been in the corridors of music from his early childhood, starting out as a boy soprano in orthodox choirs before morphing into a singer with vocal range largely extending from Baritone through Tenor to Alto, amassing more than a three octave range on clear voice days.Dolapo has flairs for creative writing and self-taught poetry and further specializes in bespoke lyrics writing per music project. In 2013, he wrote and performed two soundtracks namely; “Survivor” and “My First Love” for a Nigerian movie titled Jand Hustle, which had a 6.9/10 rating on IMDB. He collaborated with Teekay {a Nigerian Artist} on the song titled “Survivor” on the Jand Hustle movie soundtrack project.Dolapo still puts out works in the same vein and more for wider audiences.He has collaborated with musicians from all around the globe including;The United States of America, Australia, The Netherlands, Brazil and The United Kingdom.He enjoys executing his songwriting and top lining workflows from a lyrical and vocal standpoint before integrating with musical instruments for further production. In 2021, Dolapo released a 13 track album titled “Life Is Beautiful” where he featured his musician friend; Thijs Hapke a.k.a. Winston Wayne who produced 3 out of the 13 tracks on the “Life Is Beautiful” album. The other 10 tracks were produced by ITG Productions, Lathamix Productions and Cliff Tunes, all in Ibadan City, Nigeria.From 2020 to 2022, Dolapo collaborated with Winston Wayne from the Netherlands to release four joint album projects namely;No Regulars part 1 No Regulars part 2No Regulars part 3&Midnight BashRespectively. Cutting through various genres from HipHop to Rock and Indie Pop.Dolapo also cowrites music on freelance basis with Joseph Brown of Creative Dreams in Nashville USA. He makes yearly song submissions to the global Wake Up Rise Up Live For Peace virtual concert as a contribution towards the propagation of peaceful coexistence amongst the people of different communities around the world.Representing Nigeria at the yearly event.Dolapo teamed up with Steve Petrinko; from Michigan in 2022 and together they are Creative Partners at Steve and Dolapo Production; a vibrant and dynamic music production outfit that focuses on creating audio and visual beauty, with focus on positivity; friendship, empathy, diversity, love and inclusion through music.Steve and Dolapo released a 10 track album titled Companion in 2024, recorded across continents; America and Africa precisely . The duo are best of friends and currently have a host of exciting original musical works and covers in pipeline.
